Meet Your Legislators

Our election year has officially begun and we are kicking off 2022 with our first Central Committee Meeting where you can come and meet your State Legislators. These meetings are always insightful as they provide vision for our community, our state, and our upcoming election. 

5:00 – 5:30 pm  Meet and Greet Social (No Host Bar) -- meet and make friends with the people committed to advancing values and policies that make Oregon the place we all want to live in.

5:30 – 6:30 pm  Deschutes Republicans Central Committee ​​​meeting.  Formal meeting of Deschutes County Republican Party

​​Highlights: New Precinct Committee Person appointments,​Outstanding Service Awards, ​​​​​DR primary election strategy and volunteer ​​​​​​involvement plan, Reports from committees and officers.​

6:30 – 8:30 pm   Dinner and Oregon Legislator Forum ($25 at the door includes dinner):

​​We are fortunate to be joined by: Oregon Senator Dennis Linthicum (SD 28 ), State representatives Werner Reschke (HD 55), Vikki Breese-Iverson (HD 59), Candidate Michael Sipe (HD 53)

(We have invited State Senator Tim Knopp (SD 27)and State Rep. Jack Zika (HD 53) and are waiting for their confirmation.

Our guests will be answering questions about their priorities for the upcoming special legislative session; issues that will dominate policy-making in 2022 and beyond, and what is next for COVID-19 policy.

Admission with dinner is $25 at the door.
