Measure 110 (M110)
Ballot Measure 110 was put to a vote of the people in Nov. 2020.
There were 2 main features of M110:
1) Decriminalize the possession of small amounts of hard drugs.
2) Money for Drug Treatment.
This has led to large amounts of overdoses, drug use in public, public vagrancy and crime, blight in our cities and forests, all over the state. People have come here from all over the United States because drugs are “legal”. It has increased homelessness. People are dying daily. Fentanyl addicted babies are being born in our hospitals.
Because drugs are legal, there is no way to force Drug treatment. The money for treatment has not gotten to the addicted. The money for treatment is instead used for 6 figure salaries to the non-profit’s directors, like Oregon Food Bank.
Measure 110 has been a disaster from all angles!
