** Gun Raffle Rules **
Drawing will run until the Deschutes Republicans 2/19/24 Lincoln Dinner where the winner will be announced. (You can find more info about the Dinner and/or join us and register here.) Online ticket sales will end at noon on February 19, 2024.
Need not be present to win.
Each ticket purchase will qualify as one entry into the raffle. You will receive a receipt of your raffle ticket(s) via email. Your full name and phone number will serve as your raffle ticket entry identifier; physical raffle tickets will not be handed out/mailed.
A maximum of 200 tickets will be sold, although the actual number sold may be less. Odds of winning 1 in 200.
The Deschutes County, Oregon, Republican Party assumes no liability for prize winner's compliance with state and federal laws, nor for the safe storage and operation of firearms.
By obtaining a raffle ticket you attest that you are a law abiding citizen of good moral character, may legally possess the gun won, have intention of using the gun only in a safe and legal manner, and will or have already obtained instruction on the safe use and operation of the gun won.
You must be 18 years old and a legal resident of Oregon in the United States to enter into the drawing.
All firearm transfers will be done through a Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealer, and all applicable Federal and State laws will apply. Winner's transfer fee $35.
Winners must redeem their gun at Roberts Gunsmithing, 1157 SW 32nd Ct, Redmond, OR 97756. The winner will make arrangements with a representative of Deschutes Republican Party.
Guns are not transferrable. The person designated on the ticket must claim the gun.
If a winner is unable to pass the FFL background check and appeal, no prize will be awarded and a redraw will be conducted.
The winner will be notified by telephone and e-mail. In the event that the Deschutes Republicans are unable to contact the winner, it is the sole responsibility of the winner to contact the Deschutes Republican Party to claim the gun. If there's been no contact after two weeks, no prize will be awarded and a redraw will be conducted.
The Deschutes Republican Party makes no warranty of the firearms. Winners are to deal directly with the manufacturer or dealer in the event of problems.
The liability of the Deschutes Republican Party, and its Members, is limited to the purchase price of the ticket(s) obtained.
Tickets are non-refundable, including those where the winner’s background check fails to pass.
