We need everyone’s talents!

-We need to get every Republican registered! There's nothing as important as getting the vote out on election day, but you can't vote if you're not registered! We have lots of new Republicans here in Deschutes County. People have moved in, youngsters have reached "voting age", "undecideds" have finally gotten the light and want to join us. We need to get them registered.

-How about writing for The Wave or this website? Have you got hidden dreams of writing the great American novel or of being a fearless reporter? Are you a "geek' at heart and want to be involved in the Internet? Here's a way to get started! We need writers and reporters and proof-readers and production types and artists and computer afficianados to put out a professional newsletter and to maintain this website. It's fun! We'll train you. Be fearless!

-Let your friends in on where you stand! Have you ever been influenced by a friend's recommendation or testimony? If not, you're inhuman! We all have! Here's your chance to influence others. Go out and tell your friends and neighbors and family members why you are going to vote Republican! It's nothing to hold back on. We're the ones who are enlightened!

-Do you like to chat on the phone? Here's your chance. You can answer our hotliine. You can join our phone banks. You don't have to be from India to join our "information center"! We'll train you and tell you what to say and how to avoid those "hang ups" before you can say "hello"! It's going to take thousands of calls to "get out the vote". Nothing more important. So, put your cell phones away and try our phones! You'll be glad you did.

-How about getting yard signs out and campaign literature distributed? You're probably aware of all the signs which appear at election time. They didn't just walk there. Someone went out and put them in the ground. And there is a ton of campaign literature which needs to be spread around the county. You can help do all of this! Not necessarily fun, but very important and effective.

-Are you “super organized”? We need administrative assistance, accounting expertise. We have an office to populate, records to keep, messages to distribute, follow-up to perform. If this kind of activity appeals to you, do we want you! Plenty of opportunity here!
